Where we are The Centovalli Railway connects Locarno to Domodossola. Locarno is a delightful Swiss town on the south side of the Alps. Domodossola is in Italy, at the foot of the Simplon Pass. Our railway is the international connection between the main Gotthard and Simplon railway lines. The wonderful countryside of the Centovalli and Valle Vigezzo also makes this route an important tourist attraction.
